The trips one by one
The Lúčky waterfall
A twelve-metre waterfall right in the village, a few steps from the car park. An ideal first outing on the day you arrive. More about Lúčky
Gino Paradise Bešeňová
Thermal water up to 39 °C and pools both outdoors and under a roof. The closest aquapark to the farmstead, just 15 minutes away.
Havránok open-air museum
A Celtic hillfort on a hill above Liptovská Mara. Kids enjoy the reconstructed Celtic buildings, parents the view. More about the lake
Tatralandia aquapark
Slides and a covered tropical section that rescues a rainy day.
Liptovský Trnovec beach and the catamaran
Swimming with lifeguards and an hour-long trip on the Mária catamaran. The water is 20 to 23 °C in summer.
Malinô Brdo: chairlift and mountain carts
Up by chairlift to Malinné (1,209 m) and 5 km down on a cart, about 20 minutes of fun. Combine it with a walk to Vlkolínec (2.4 km).
The Prosiecka valley to the waterfall

The Museum of the Liptov Village in Pribylina
An open-air museum with houses from the flooded villages. Kids see how people lived in Liptov a hundred years ago.
At home on the farmstead
A big yard, a games room with billiards, table tennis and table football, a pool and two cats. Rišo is head of the yard and does the rounds of all the cottages every morning. Mišo is a diplomat with the patience of a saint around children.
Tips for parents
- One big trip a day is enough. In the afternoon, kids are happy to come back to the yard.
- Take a jacket into the caves, even in summer. It's around 6 °C inside.
- Leave the pushchair in the car at the caves and in the Prosiecka valley; a carrier works better.
- For a big family, Drevenica is the most practical: modular rooms for three families and a terrace all around the house.
